In the spring, Chris kicked off his freelance business after leaving a position as staff writer at Silicon Valley NORTH. Other than re-discovering his love for writing fiction and poetry, he did some freelance work for Communications & Networking, including an article on telecommunications and networking services for multi-tenant unit buildings (August 2000 issue). Also, an article on application service providers appeared in Silicon Valley NORTH (July 2000 issue).
