I'm a bit of an animation nut. As an artform, I found it quite fascinating, but also some of the stories that some animators come up with are truly amazing. This all probably comes as a result of growing up on Looney Tunes cartoons and Disney animated films (not to mention the whole bunch of after school and Saturday morning cartoons).
The truth is, I'll watch just about anything animated, but I'm especially fond of Japanese animation. I first delved into anime before I knew what it even was. As a kid, I watched Battle of the Planets and other imported Japanese cartoons. These days, I mostly watch anime that's more aimed at teenage and up audiences -- Cowboy Bebop, Record of Lodoss War, Serial Experiments: Lain and others. In fact, I need to get some new anime series on DVD. I've watched everything I have several times. ;)
