Puppy discussion continues. I think I've won on the poodle thing, though. Jacquie tried to gain support from my parents about a poodle (she claims otherwise ), but they both hate poodles as much as I do. However, Jacquie is just as unrelenting about my Welshi corgi as I am about the poodle. That's fine...as long as I don't have to worry about ever having a poodle living here.
We have a couple possibilities of dogs to get:
-Chihuahua
-Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
That's right. We could only agree on two breeds. Both are not cheap dogs. We looked. It would likely cost at least $800 for either of those, with prices going as high as $1200 or so. ... Maybe we should just forget about breeders and go to the Humane Society. There are always dogs who need good homes cooped up there.
Unfortunately, Jacquie's not really the type to take to a Humane Society. She'd want to bring every animal home.
