The good and the bad...
My friend and co-worker, Rob, tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Tahlia, on Saturday. It was a very nice outdoors wedding up at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park and then an indoors reception in a place not too far away from the ceremony. Thankfully, the rain held off just long enough for the ceremony to end and most of the wedding pictures to get shot.
Stories like this usually end with me writing something like: "And I drank too much." This story is no different. I did drink too much. As Jacquie told me on Sunday morning, I just can't hold my alcohol.
Unfortunately, bad news awaited me this morning. A death in the family. I will likely have to attend a funeral around mid-week. :(
