The World of Greyhawk

An ongoing campaign run by Chris Talbot and featuring many different players

Hi there. I know this page is ultra-simplistic, but it's meant to be that way. Essentially, this page exists only for myself and for the players in my World of Greyhawk Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition campaign that began in the autumn of 2000 and has continued on and off since. What you will find here are brief timelines of each of the adventures that took place during the story arcs we played out in the campaign. While the main party is a group of four or five players (plus me as the dungeon master) that meets every other Sunday (theoretically, anyway), I've started looking at broadening the scope of the campaign to include play-by-email adventures. Additionally, I've also been considering adding a secondary tabletop group in time.

Almost the entire player base of the Sunday night group has turned over once. Past players include Sean, Tom, Steve and Dave. The current group consists of Logan, Jay, Jacquie, Rich and Rawl.

The links below are broken up into general links and group links. Feel free to check things out and drop me a line if you have comments or questions.

General Campaign Links

Who's Who Everything you ever wanted to know about the PCs and NPCs in the campaign world but were afraid to ask. Although the list is far from complete, it's something I'm working on constantly. I didn't even start this Website until we were about twenty adventures in, so the number of adventures to sift back through and strip NPC names out of is time-consuming.
Guilds of the Flanaess Information on the various guilds and powerful groups of the Flanaess. The listings are broken down into geographic location where applicable. Guild memberships of PCs are also listed.
Approved Material A growing list of approved material for the game, be it books, magical items, spells, feats, classes, prestige classes, game mechanics or whatever.

The Sunday Night Group (i.e. the main group)

Tales of Adventure: The Celene/Pomarj War The first story arc in the campaign started shortly after the launch of the three D&D 3E core books in mid-2000. Although I can't remember exactly when the campaign kicked off, I believe it was in either September or October of 2000. Early in the campaign, I started dropping hints and rumours that a war was brewing between the Empire of the Pomarj and the Faerie Kingdom of Celene. The first story arc ended in the winter of 2004 with the PCs protecting a small town's population by waiting out the war's end in a fort a few days ride north of the Pomarj. In-game, the adventures take place between the month of Coldeven in CY 591 and the month of Sunsebb in CY 591, although the war doesn't end until the month of Readying in CY 592.
Tales of Adventure: Rebirth of Elemental Evil The second story arc began in the spring of 2004 and probably won't end until 2006. The story arc revolves around the Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil super-module by Monte Cook. In-game, the adventures began in the month of Flocktime in CY 592.

Other Adventures

The Chronicles of Ander Spellweaver This story arc revolves around Ander Spellweaver, a wizard and original member of the Sunday night group's party. Nearly a year after leaving the adventuring life to pursue his arcane studies, Ander suddenly finds himself in the role of adventurer again.
Aramil Xiloscient, Thief On The Run This story arc revolves around Aramil Xiloscient, a rogue and original member of the Sunday night group's party. When the player left the group, Logan's paladin finally got revenge on the thief and had him jailed for being a member of the local Thieves' Guild. After spending the better part of a year in the Dyvers prison, Aramil will finally see the light of day again.
